Rob Thornton's Solo Mountaineering Blog.

I put this blog together many years ago as an information blog for members of the Alliance of Veteran Alpinists and those interested in solo mountaineering. At 70yrs+ I still solo climb alpine peaks in Europe using the simple and sometimes unconventional techniques herein and they have served me well. I do hope they will be as useful to you as they have been to me. Take your time studying them, and use them wisely! Email me if you need further info. (FEEL FREE TO FOLLOW US)
